What's on Ward on the Street
Ward on the Street is where you find out what a job is actually like before you take it. For every hospital, you can:
- Read anonymous reviews of each department from the NHS staff who worked there
- See how it did in the GMC's national training survey and the NHS Staff Survey
- Check the locum rates doctors were paid there, with a free sign-in
- Find out where to park, where we know it
There's an A to Z of every hospital and a leaderboard. And if you're looking at a specialty, its own page brings together its reviews from every hospital, with what it takes to get into it.
Ward on the Street's reviews and the GMC survey are built into Spec Select too, so you can see them beside what applying to each specialty involves.
And now every trust's systems too
Compare hospital trusts has every NHS trust and health board side by side, just like the Intelligence Database did. For each one you can see:
- Its electronic patient record (EPR) system
- Whether notes and prescribing are digital or on paper
- Which system its emergency department uses
- How well its systems connect
- Where it sits in NHS England's league table
- Its hospitals on Ward on the Street, with their scores
You can type in any trust or hospital, or narrow it down with the filters. And if you sign in, you can save trusts and compare up to 3 side by side.
