Privacy policy

Last updated 20 August 2026

1. About this policy

This is the privacy policy for www.doctordevify.com, the personal site of Dr Dev Gakhar. Our other properties, including the Doctor Devify tools hub, the book pages and the link in bio page, collect different things and have their own policy at tools.doctordevify.com/privacy.

2. Who we are

Doctor Devify Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a UK registered company, is the data controller. The brand we use day to day is "Doctor Devify". To get in touch, email hello@doctordevify.com.

3. What we collect

This site has no accounts. The only personal data it collects is what you choose to send through its forms:

  • The contact form: your name, email address and message, plus your organisation, subject line and phone number if you add them.
  • The free audit request: your name, email address, the channel you want reviewed and what you are trying to achieve with it.
  • The Ward Round signup: your email address, passed to Kit (ConvertKit), who deliver the newsletter and confirm your subscription by email. Their own privacy policy covers what they do with it, and every issue carries an unsubscribe link.

We do not record your IP address, your browser details or anything else alongside a submission.

4. Anonymous usage counting

Separately from the forms, we count what happens on the site: which pages are viewed, which links and buttons are pressed, whether the visit is on a phone or a computer, and the name of the website you arrived from. This is our own counting, stored in our own database, and no third party is involved.

It is not personal data and is not designed to become any. We do not record your IP address, your browser details or anything you type, there is no cookie and no account, and a visit is identified only by a random number your browser discards when you close the tab. Nothing here is ever joined to an enquiry you send us, and none of it can identify you.

If your browser is set to ask sites not to track you, through Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we record nothing at all. The cookie policy lists exactly what is stored.

5. How we use it

To read your enquiry, reply to it, and carry on that conversation. Nothing else: no marketing list, no profiling, and we never sell or share your details for advertising. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a message you chose to send us.

6. Where it lives and who processes it

Enquiry submissions and the anonymous usage counts are stored in our database, hosted by Supabase, and a copy of each enquiry is sent to us by email through Resend, who deliver it; newsletter signups go to Kit (ConvertKit), who run the mailing list; if you use the “Book a free call” button on the healthcare page, the details you enter to book go to Calendly, who run the scheduling (nothing of theirs loads unless you press that button); and the site itself is hosted by Vercel. All of them act as processors for us. If you email us instead, your message lives in our email.

7. How long we keep it

For as long as it takes to deal with your enquiry, and afterwards as a record of the conversation. Email us at any time and we will delete what we hold about you.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

  • show you the personal data we hold about you
  • correct it if it is wrong
  • delete it
  • restrict or object to how we use it
  • give it to you in a portable format

Email hello@doctordevify.com for any of these. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

9. Changes

If this site starts collecting anything new, this policy changes before that goes live, and the date at the top moves.
