Cookie policy

www.doctordevify.com sets no cookies of its own, and nothing belonging to anyone else runs when you arrive. There is no advertising and nothing that follows you between visits or between sites.

We do count what happens on the site, so we know which pages are read and which links are used. It is our own counting, it stays in our own database, and it uses no cookie: section 2 sets out exactly what is recorded. If your browser asks not to be tracked, we record nothing at all.

One page has a booking button that opens Calendly. Nothing of Calendly's loads unless you press it. If you do, Calendly may set its own cookies, and section 3 explains that.

Two things, in your browser's own storage rather than in cookies:

• A note that you closed the newsletter popup, so it does not keep reappearing. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.
• A random number for one visit, which your browser throws away the moment you close the tab. It lets us see that one person read four pages rather than counting four separate people. It is not a cookie, it is not an account, it carries nothing about you, and it cannot recognise you if you come back tomorrow.

Alongside that visit number we record which page was viewed, which link or button was pressed, whether you are on a phone or a computer, and, on the first page of a visit, the website you arrived from. Only the site name, never the full address, so a search you typed never reaches us.

We do not record your IP address, your browser details, your name or anything you typed. None of it can be linked back to a person, and we never join it to an enquiry you send us.

What you type into a form is sent to us only when you press send; nothing you type is stored in your browser.

The healthcare page has a “Book a free call” button. It does nothing until you press it. On the first press, your browser loads Calendly's scheduling widget and opens it over the page, and from that point Calendly may set cookies on your device and will receive whatever you enter to book the call.

That is Calendly's processing under their own policy, not ours. If you would rather not use it, the same section has a “Send a message instead” button that goes to our own contact form, and you can always email us directly.

The Doctor Devify tools hub and book pages do use cookies, for things like sign in, payments and analytics. They are covered by their own policy at tools.doctordevify.com/cookie-policy.
